Job Description

Job Purpose:

Coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules.

Requirements

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the monthly production schedule, and the weekly filling plan detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by as well as providing regular reports on the production status.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance in order to schedule production activities utilizing information derived from material and production control systems
  • Coordinate with departments as needed to identify and resolve issues regarding meeting daily targets and delivery.
  • Measuring Plant Production Performance, conducting timely review of the drivers through tools that ensure continuous process improvement.
  • Co-ordinate order fulfillment for local and export markets, providing favorable ERDs in a timely manner.
  • Act as the MRD focal point for new product introductions in the system by ensuring timely set up of SKUs in the system.
  • Responsible for the timely review of backorders amp; drivers for OTIF failures through RCA models that will ensure continuous order fulfilment process improvement
  • Focal point and responsible for coordinating fulfilment of Vivo Energy Kenya purchase orders and timely daily invoicing of sales.
  • Responsible for receipt of all customer orders and communication of ERDs within 48 hours.
  • Responsible for ullage tracking and reporting in order to manage exposures.
  • Act as principal assistant to the Planning Manager role when absence.

Key Challenges

  • Exciting the customer by ensuring stocks are availed ON TIME IN FULL against challenging sales forecast signals.

Job Knowledge, Skills amp; Experiences:

  • University degree preferably business-oriented field.
  • Supply chain experience with demonstrated exposure to Planning will be an added advantage.
  • Four years working experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Experience with SAP ERP strongly recommended.
  • Strong analytical amp; quantitative skills
  • Attention to details and set timelines
  • High integrity and strong character
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
