A career-driven IT support technician who enjoys the variety and challenges that come with this kind of work is welcome to apply for the position. At the ICT office, the incumbent will be responsible for providing first level technical support. For the delivery of a wide range of IT Services, such as installing and configuring hardware and software, they will offer IT desktop and technical support to all personnel and partners. Installation and administration of servers, networking, IT equipment installation and troubleshooting, data backup, and disaster recovery.
ICT Support Staff Specific Duties:
Support and/or troubleshooting for Windows, MS Office, and antivirus-related difficulties with applications.
Organize recurring hardware and software maintenance (computer and printer servicing, minor repairs, and software updates).
Desktop hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Ability to set up and manage local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
PBX telephone system implementation, configuration, and setup.
Familiarity with telephony & CCTV/ Biometric/ Access control.
