Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Role: Video Editor

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in at least two of the following editing software: CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Thika office.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, ensuring the final product meets the company's quality standards.

Creative Input: Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and execute projects that align with the company's vision.

Visual Effects: Incorporate visual effects, animations, and graphics as needed to enhance the video's appeal.

Sound Design: Edit and mix audio tracks, including music, dialogue, and sound effects.

Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time.

Quality Control: Review and provide feedback on video content to ensure high-quality production.

Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video editing and digital media.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

Software Proficiency: Must be well-experienced in at least two of the following: CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.

Creativity: Excellent storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail, color, and composition.

Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the creative team.

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Degree or diploma in film production, multimedia, or a related field will be an added advantage, but it is not mandatory.

Additional Skills: Knowledge of other editing software, motion graphics, and 3D animation is a plus.

Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced production environment is an added advantage.

Necessities

Work Environment: This is an on-site position; remote work is not available.

Equipment: Familiarity with professional video production equipment and software. You will initially need to use your own laptop, but office computers will later be provided.
