Position: E-commerce Assistant
Location: Remote (full-time)

Candidates must be able to commit to focused, uninterrupted work during agreed-upon hours and maintain open, honest communication at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry & Maintenance: Update and maintain SKU records, pricing, and product data across multiple stores; assist in bulk product uploads and ensure data consistency across multiple stores; and conduct regular data audits to identify and correct inconsistencies. You’ll be trusted to take initiative, find solutions, and continuously improve how we manage and present our products online.
  • Content & Image Management: Support the Content team by maintaining the?product database (Content, Images, Spec Sheets) and assisting with uploads to the website under the supervision of the E-commerce Coordinator; help gather and optimize product images, ensuring platform-specific standards are met.
  • Technical & Administrative Support: Be the go-to problem solver for basic tech issues related to product listings, helping internal teams move faster and smarter, resolving basic issues; assist with maintaining databases, and?ensuring accurate categorization of product data, images, and assets; and perform quality checks on product data and website consistency.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate on product data updates, audits, and ongoing projects; and participate in team meetings, offering administrative support and technical insights as needed.
  • Process Documentation: Take the lead on documenting and improving standard operating procedures, contributing to a more efficient and scalable workflow.

Must-Have:

  • Strong attention to detail and responsiveness.
  • Prior experience in large-scale product data management or a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Power Query is a plus).
  • Experience with E-commerce platforms such as BigCommerce or similar.
  • Ability to independently set, monitor, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple overlapping projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to take on new responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a changing environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new tools and optimizing workflows.
  • Comfortable asking questions, digging into problems, and proposing better ways to do things.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools, including Trello, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and Dropbox.
  • Comfortable with tech tools and basic data management tasks.
  • Additional experience with task management, project management, or database software.
