Your RoleAs a Fleet Operations assistant, you will assist in the administration and maintenance of vehicles to minimize downtimes and enhance delivery time. You will also assist in managing drivers and vehicle performance to ensure vehicles are optimally utilized to reduce wastage and maximize returns by managing both the company drivers and the 3PLs to achieve efficiency and labor productivity. What You Will Do
  • Respond to requests relating to service calls and maintenance needs/ problems in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient and effective vehicle allocation
  • Timely response to driver concerns, complaints and escalations
  • Proper duty and shift allocation to ensure there is no driver burn out or unnecessary overtime
  • Ensure proper planning and scheduling for all vehicle inspections, insurance and timely repair and maintenance to ensure there are no downtimes that could affect business operations
  • Oversee implementation of policies and procedures applicable to fleet, maintenance and inventory operations, including safety and training
  • Ensure proper management of the company drivers and the 3PLs in scheduling deliveries and goods returned to ensure efficiency and optimization of operations
  • Ensure the fleet and personnel data is accurately captured and stored securely
  • Ensure that all relevant procedures, SOPs and routines are followed and adhered to in line with the company policy, procedures and requirements
  • Any other tasks as required by your line manager
What You Will Bring to KOKO
  • 2+ years of experience managing drivers and/or a fleet in an established organization
  • Diploma in automotive engineering, supply chain, logistics, transport management, or similar (degree is an added advantage)
  • Knowledge of county and state regulations relating to fleet maintenance
  • Excellent data analysis and spreadsheet skills
  • Hands on, apt, and experienced planner with highly developed coordination skills
  • High integrity and moral standing
  • Ability to solve problems very independently in a fast paced environment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and flexible workloads with peaks/multitasking capability
  • Experience in fleet management software and ERP knowledge
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Knowledge of HSE/ISO procedures
