Your RoleAs Finance Planning amp; Analysis Manager, you will be the lead Finance Business Partner for Kenya across all core lines of Business, during a period of significant growth for the company’s operations.You will have a leadership role within Finance and run all aspects of Financial Planning amp; Analysis for Kenya. What you will do
  • You will lead a team of analysts to deliver reporting and insights that improve performance.
  • You will be the business partner for key leaders including Managing Director, Commercial Operations Director and other Functional Heads, with the support of your team.
  • Own the monthly and quarterly management reporting packs for leadership amp; management teams for Kenya, providing detailed commentary on performance
  • You will manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring operating costs and operational efficiencies are considered, and performance trade-offs assessed.
  • Own the weekly and monthly reporting packs for KOKO Club, with a focus on pulling out key performance insights.
  • Represent Finance in business decision making meetings for KOKO Club (FMCG), including but not limited to pricing amp; promotion strategy, stock reconciliations, operational logistics.
  • There will be a need for significant ad hoc analysis projects, delivered by you or your team, this may include growth strategies, optimisation assessments or grant applications.
  • You will assist in some aspects of the preparation of the Group Management Accounts under IFRS.
What you will bring
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
  • Strong experience with data analysis and forecasting models
  • Ability to create business case assessments with ease.
  • Experience with big data and visualisation tools e.g. Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Domo is a plus
  • 5+ years of proven work experience as a Finance Business Partner, FPamp;A or similar role, ideally in the FMCG, Logistics, Energy, or Retail Sectors
  • Solid analytical and decision-making skills
  • Experience of operating in a matrix reporting structure
  • Flawless written and spoken English, plus Kiswahili
  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/ACCA/CIMA) is a plus
