Job Description
Powered by People (PBP) is looking for an exceptional Sales Ops Associate to join our growing Sales team. You will focus on communications with our rapidly expanding group of global makers, ensuring they have the information they need in real time to continue selling to buyers across the US and Canada and soon Europe. On a daily basis you will work with handmade and small batch businesses across five continents managing orders, payments and financing.
You are detail-oriented and flexible problem-solver. This role involves frequent communication with PBP buyers and makers, so the ideal candidate will enjoy communicating with people and working in a social environment. You will manage all sales orders in the PBP platform and ensure their on time confirmation, shipment and delivery. You will utilize a variety of software tools to navigate accounts and create solutions for order issues.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Order Management:
- Manage Marketplace orders from placement to fulfillment
- Collaborate with the Merchandising team to support larger transactions
- Data entry and management related to orders and inventory
- Support documenting and improving existing Sales Ops processes
Logistics Work with logistics partners to resolve customs and import issues
Finance Operations Work with the Finance team to ensure timely payments and payouts
Customer Support Help resolve Buyer and Maker technical and non-technical issues
Requirements
Education amp; Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience
- 1-3 years of customer service, sales or related experience
- Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs during peak season
- Experience in website interaction and backend tools is preferred, including Shopify, Zoho, and other CRM tools
Computer amp; Technical Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as we currently support through a variety of mediums including phone, email and chat
- Empathetic to and understanding of our customers’ unique experiences. You are passionate about delighting customers every single day!
- Ruthlessly organized, disciplined, and comfortable managing competing priorities with care
- Confident adapting to rapid change in a metrics-based and performance-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to successfully multitask. This role involves navigating and diagnosing website experiences while maintaining focus on the customer and their immediate needs.
- Ability to quickly pick up a variety of software applications with ease
