Search for Common Ground (Search) is a worldwide Non-Profit Organization with the primary objective to change the way the world deals with conflict, away from adversarial approaches towards collaborative Solutions.
Search has been working in Kenya since 2008, when we launched the award-winning series The Team. Our work has focused on overcoming ethnic, political, social and cultural divides, furthering constructive interaction and healthy relationships between civil society and key government actors, and transforming violent Conflict.
In this call , Search intends to identify and partner with 2 radio stations in the city of Mombasa in the production and airing of a 1hr Radio Magazine targeting youths (adolescents) in Mombasa County.
The media products will have the objective of expanding platforms for elevating adolescent voices on youth centered issues and strengthening their resources and capacities for action and advocacy in a more sustainable way.
In this project the Radio Stations will need to deliver: 1. MP3 files of the aired programs 2. Protected Links to the programs.
Therefore the stations will need to provide the following in their application; 1. Station Profile that indicates audience reach and profile. 2. Samples of previous programs targeting adolescents ranging from 15-18 years old. 3. A quotation per episode for the program including repeat airing.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF BIDS: 25th April 2023
Bids will not be accepted after the deadline. Bids must be sent in KES currency. Bids must be submitted on lever only. Please indicate Youth Talk Radio Bid - Mombasa in the subject line.
EVALUATION CRITERIA: An internal committee will assess the bids received, on the basis of: 1) Proven track record producing high-quality programs for a national and international audience; 2) prior experience producing Radio programs for international NGOs in Kenya; 3) Knowledge of the target locations ) value for money; 4) shortest delivery date
