About the Role
We’re seeking a driven and creative problem solver to join our Sales team as Sales Training Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various training duties, primarily focused on developing and evaluating training materials for digital delivery. As the Sales Training Assistant, you will be involved in the creation, refinement and sense-checking of sales training materials before these are shared with the intended audience. You will work closely with the Senior Manager, Sales Training to ensure that field sales agents country-wide receive clear and concise training to equip them with the right skills to sell our products.
Location: Nairobi, Kenya Reporting Lines: This role reports to the Senior Manager, Sales Training Responsibilities:
  • Creating impactful digital training content: Convert key business training problems into digital training content that support different teams to succeed. This will require high level of creativity and comfort using visual design tools like canva, adobe illustrator etc
  • Training content testing: Provide support in testing developed training content to maximize teams engagement, comprehension and impact. This will require engaging agents both in person and through the phone to ensure that all the digital content uploaded on our digital content is tested with different samples of our agent demographics
  • Training delivery testing: Participating in sales training sessions run by trainers/Field sales manager to check on the flow and content delivery to provide reports on actions points.
  • Reviewing agent training performance and recommending actions: Monitoring training agents scores through the provided dashboards to make recommendations on areas of improvement on the process
Requirements:
  • More than 2 years of experience working with field sales teams or farmers
  • Creativity and innovative thinking to develop engaging training content.
  • Strong proficiency in visual design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator).
  • Data and insights collection skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to engage with and gather feedback from diverse groups of teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design is a plus.
