ilara Health's vision is a world in which early detection and preventative healthcare are accessible to everyone, everywhere. We do this through redefining primary care across emerging markets by bringing novel diagnostics and digital solutions to healthcare facilities and patients.
We've started our journey by bringing diagnostic support and essential tests to patients and providers who currently are unable to access these basic life-saving tools. We partner with companies that are disrupting the diagnostic device landscape, integrate their devices into our tech platform, and offer this diagnostic package plus smart financing to health facilities in peri-urban areas across Africa. As a result, our facilities are now able to offer their patients essential tests through our affordable, tech-enabled, point of care (POC) diagnostic suite.
Requirements
- You’ll be a member of ilara Health's leadership team and report to the CTO with a dotted line to the CEO. You’ll be joining an extremely fast-paced startup environment, a team of proven emerging and frontier market entrepreneurs, and build projects that have a real impact on health outcomes. We’re all super passionate about the work we do, and are looking for people with a drive to make real change in the world.
- 3+ years of product experience (product manager, engineering manager/lead, UX lead or related experience) and/or experience from a previous senior product role for tech-driven startups that have scaled across emerging markets.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, able to develop a strong product vision and to make strategic decisions about a market which you may not know well, able to build new products and features to increase growth and improve customer experience.
- Use data from user research/feedback and prior experience to present compelling and practical solutions to the rest of the leadership team.
- Work with cross-functional teams both internally and externally to evaluate ways to increase growth rates.
- Build out a rapid experimentation framework that makes it cheap and easy to run experiments to enable data driven decisions.
- Think creatively beyond what has been done before, to build strategies based on qualitative and quantitative data.
