Know our team
Nutrition International's Human Resource unit is a diverse team of dedicated professionals responsible for the development and implementation of human resource priorities across the organization. The unit leads, coordinates, learning and developmentinitiative, perfomance management, talent Aquisition employee among others. The Human Resource unit works closely with other teams across the organization to grow people driven agenda within the organization. The human resource team are located in Nutrition International's Headquarters in Ottawa, Canada as well as our Asia and Africa Regional Offices. Nutrition International is currently seeking applications for a Regional Talent Acquisition Officer to be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
About you
You will have a degree, diploma or certification in Human Resources Management. HR certifications (e.g. CHRP, SHRP, PHR, SPHR). Minimum of 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition. Experience with applicant tracking systems or customer relationship management systems. Experience using social media outlets for talent acquisition. Global recruiting experience within an INGO environment is an asset. Successful track record in filling difficult positions in niche areas and maintaining high quality satisfaction of hiring managers and candidates. Knowledge and experience in working with Applicant Tracking Systems and online recruiting and networking tools.
About the role
In this role you will be:
Reporting to the Regional Human Resources Manager, the Regional Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for sourcing quality candidates to meet the needs of the organization. The incumbent will participate in the full recruitment lifecycle, from posting and sourcing to selection, and collaborate with hiring managers and the HR department to gain an understanding of the best-fit applicants for the organization. The Talent Acquisition Officer will negotiate offers with selected candidate and oversee the completion of references, background and criminal checks where relevant. Once the contract has been signed, the Talent Acquisition Officer will hand it off to the HR Officer for employee set-up and onboarding.
